These leg straps come standard on the Operator & Whisper Tactical vests. Modeled after a human's mountaineering harness, the wide straps eliminate pinch points and potential nerve damage. The independent design allows the dog to hang in position while keeping the vest taught against the body, not allowing for forward creep during rope exercises.
