K9 Helm CS-1 Peltor Adapter Kit

The K9 Helm CS-1 Peltor Adapter Kit allows handlers to mount 3M Peltor ProTac III's, ComTac V's/ VI's, or SWAT-TAC V's/ VI's to their K9 Helm CS-1 Helmet. Handlers and K9 professionals now have the incredible ability to deliver commands to their K9 remotely via radio or comms network.

The 3M Peltor ProTac III's are often utilized in conjunction with a cost-effective and user-friendly radio such as a Baofeng Uv5R, while the ComTac's or SWAT-TAC's are utilized with operator-oriented radios such as the Persistent Systems MPU5. Other radio systems may be used though with these headsets.

**PELTOR HEADSET NOT INCLUDED**

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Remove the headband from your respective headset, leaving the center connecting cable
• Remove the gel cups from your respective headset
• Place the side tab mounts onto your headset's side tabs, located where the headband was removed
• Utilizing a 2mm allen wrench and the provided screws, screw the side tab mounts onto the Peltor Adapter Kit cups ('P' for ProTac, 'C/S' for ComTac or SWAT-TACs). We recommend screwing in one side halfway, then screwing in the opposite side, allowing for ease of install due to tight tolerances.
• Utilizing a 2mm allen wrench and standard 5mm wrench, screw on the provided center cable management piece which will connect the cups. Be sure to not overtighten and simply screw until snug.
• We suggest using One-Wrap velcro or a bungee cord to now bundle/ manage the center headset cord under the center cable management piece. NOTE: Be sure your center cable is clear of the helmet and does not create a large gap between the cups and the helmet itself once bundled.
• Your headset should now be installed on the Adapter cups and center cable placed under the cable management piece. Simply install the Adapter cups onto the helmet as you would the CS-1 Ear Covers, ensuring all retention tabs are correctly set into place.

(6) 2mm Allen Screws (4 for Adapter Cups, 2 for Cable Management piece)
